i have 5 of the lil babies (three i own and 2 i foster <3)

Cats
-random traits that dogs do not or not quite have.

Can jump up to six times their height on average, when trained that can be up to ten feet.
Their flexibility and natural sense of balance allows them to easily manover obstacles and make quick desisions. (also why when a cat is falling it realizes it is upside-down and turns over)
Their claws, unlike a dog can also be used as a natural defense, though dogs are more useful for distance related tasks and digging it cannot climb or use its claws as a form of defense, whereas a cat (if It feels like it) can dig and use its claws for other traits.
have a natural liking to keeping clean. Though both can be classified as scavengers a cat will not consume the droppings of their own or other animals, and any left over meat or bones they find is only eaten if recently left and is untouched by vermin.
They have their own sense of self, and objective, and cunning. Though they have almost every trait one could ask for, they still chose to roll with humans because they get attention, care, shelter, food, and support without even trying. (example of their cunning-) Most cats are aware humans adore the purr- humans see purring as a sign of silent affection, and they know how to use it to their liking.
Adding to the sense of self, though they prioritize themselves, if a cat bonds with a human they choose to stick to that human, get along with people their human likes, and tend to their needs. They will indulge their activities with that person and is why they often seek attention from those they love. (Example of this is cats wanting you to sit next to them while they drink water, eat, or be pet.)

Additional things: cats are notorious for coming back to their owners house even after the owner had dropped them off at different locations or had been forgotten.
