My guess is that it's green because it's on top of blue. Is it green all the time? It's a partially transparent cursor so that you can see through it to see what's behind it, but that also means that the yellow will be able to mix with any color it's on top of.
Can't make it bigger, unfortunately. Cursors can only be so big. (Thank your OS for that.)
I did notice that the edges are kind of rough. THAT I can fix. =)
