Well, that may be a problem. When a picture is in digital format, DPI is a mostly useless number and so I tend to ignore it. There is no "Change DPI" command in RWPaint.
If your files are .jpg, download Picture Resizer, rename it to PhotoResizeD300T.exe (replace the 300 with other number if you want another resolution) and drag and drop your .jpg picture onto it. That will produce copies with 300 assigned to it. It will not touch the actual pixels.
