Mapped Network Drive Windows 7.ico
- Published on June 20th 2026 under the Release to Public Domain license.
- Designated to be used as My Computer icon.
- Icon for Windows XP, Vista and 7.
Taken straight out of shell32.dll from my Windows 7 Professional using Resource Hacker. This represents a Mapped Network Drive. This is when you explicitly tell Windows, "Hey, take this folder over the network from the server and pretend it's a hard drive inside my own computer, like drive Z:." Whenever you map a drive letter, Windows slaps this exact icon into your "Computer" folder so you can access it instantly.
