I haven't created a cursor in a long time, and it seems I've forgotten how to change the hotspot. Where do I click/go? Thanks!

There is a "Hot Spot" tool. It should be in the toolbar with the other drawing tools. Maybe it is hidden if the window is too narrow - in that case click on the small arrow at the end of the toolbar and the hidden buttons appear in a menu.
