Are you drawing the outlines with pencil and filling areas with a gradient? If that is the case, you are a very gifted pixel artist!

Do not be afraid to try animated cursors. And maybe focus on a single theme/character, like you did with your Totoro cursors.

I am making cursors on my school computer, so I can't get the downloadable program. So I can't do animation, and I have to do every color individually. Do you have any helpful tips for the online cursor maker?
