Beta 1 - Beta 2 comparison

The number of icons with high-resolution images has increased significantly in Beta 2 (from 104 in Beta 1 to to 296). The style of the icons is also more consistent with the Glass theme available in this build.

come now, lost of little, no big business, apps, used XP icons, whats the diff? I'd say, go ahead and use them!

Believe it or not Microsoft is notifying people one by one to remove vista icons from their site.

I believe it's perfectly legal to use Windows icons in your software (I can't remember exactly, but I think I've read this in ASP newsgroups) as long as you don't pretend they're not yours.

not sure about vista icons, thought, as it's still in beta.

Not true at all. You can find on the web that your not allowed to use the XP Operating System Icons in your own application. Like I said... Microsoft has been notifying people to remove vista icons from their sites. If you want some legit ones, go to VirtualLNK.
