READ THIS, OR PIRATE BENEKE WILL ATTACK!
(again..."-_-)I didn't make these, they're from a game.
The feather alone is the only real in-game cursor,
the black&white hands come from the launcher,
the pointing one is the only used cursor.
The rest is other UI elements.
They're on a 48 pixels canvas,
to see them correctly you'll have to
change cursor size, HERE'S HOW :
On Windows10&11
write "size" in the start bar,
click "Change Cursor Size",
set the slider to 2 or 5,
then apply a cursor set made from these!
On Windows 7 & prior
go to "run",
type 'regedit' in the window's text bar,
the Registry Editor opens,
go to the directory
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Cursors
(you can copy-paste it in the window's top bar),
right-click on the "CursorBaseSize" value,
left-click on "Modify", then check "Decimal",
& change the value from 32 to 48 or 96,
for the heck of it even 144.
This change will apply on the next restart.
SO...
The game had ONLY ONE CURSOR (plus the 3 hands
from the launcher, only one used).
I HAD to get my hands dirty, & combine
the feather with other worthy UI elements.
They... work together better than I expected!
Still, the candid quill is WHITE,
that doesn't work too nicely on bright interfaces...
for practicality I suggest checking
the "Enable pointer shadow" box,
the system & in-built shadows combined
ought help a little with the whole visibility matter
RELEASE SERIE 1 !
Including :
-The one, the only, the true in-game cursor, feder_003, the quill. Hotspot was checked with irfanview's screencapture utility, a hotspot-finder cursor set on Windows, and the "Include mouse cursor" option (that way, the ingame cursor is overlaid by the Windows cursor in the screenshot, helping us find the hotspot;
-Several custom WiB & Busy cursors, using:
•Build edifice menu icons for industry&farm cathegories;
•Rapid advancement aka fast-forward icon(the calendar);
•Ship under repair/upgrade icon(escutcheon-shaped, seen above the docked ships in question);
•Ship under repair icon(hammer and two nails,
seen in the ship info menu);
-The month-lasting hourglass seen in the top-right corner. This kitty marks the passage of in-game months, I recorded it at maximum game speed & tried pegging the animation speed to the recorded footage;
-Three custom Disallowed/Unavailable/No cursors, the feather over :
•The snowflake map icon for "closed port"(due to ICE. Ships can dock, but can't leave);
•The embargo icon seen in-game(blue field, red anchor, wooden shield. The Hanseatic council is boycotting this city, & will fine traders who go there);
•An unused icon, likely for embargo(off-brand looking no-access road-sign);
-Custom resizers made with the snaikka sprites used on the map ;
-Ascman.exe hand cursors;
-A custom link selector made by combining the quill with the gears for the menu icon;
-For the heck of it, two person selectors:
•One with the residents icon
•One with the ship sailors' tab icon
