Eye Scrambler: A new game 4 you

Published by on August 22nd.

Hello again, folks! Dungster here, and I've got a new game for you: Eye Scrambler. If you've played Dobble or Spot It!, you'll know the idea. Each pair of cards has exactly one matching symbol, and your job is to spot it and get through the deck as quickly as possible. It's a single-player challenge, it is just you, the deck, and the clock.

Naturally, the pictures on the cards are customizable. If you create icon sets for the game and own the Eye Scrambler Cards item, you can choose which set you want to use. This time, eligible sets come through the new Collections system: there's an Eye Scrambler collection, and suitable icon sets can be added to it (soonish... after it is published). The initial icons may seem familiar as they were taken from Microsoft's Fluent icon collection.

There are three card variants available: with 4, 6, or 8 symbols per card. The 8-symbol version is the proper challenge, requiring 57 different symbols. If an icon set doesn't have that many icons, there's another option: sets with at least 15 monochrome icons can be used, with the same symbols appearing in different colors. Such sets need to have the Monochrome tag.

The 8-symbol game also has a top-ten scoreboard, based on your time for completing the deck. As with my other games, only players who own the card pack can get onto the table, have their statistics recorded, and earn some buttons back. The Eye Scrambler Cards cost 8 buttons (get it from my store), so if you're quick enough, you can recover some of that investment.

So grab your cards, sharpen your eyes, and get ready to have them scrambled. Game on, mates!
