When I go to the image editor, it doesn't have the toolbar or the sidebar. All keybord shortcuts are disabled. It still has basic functions, but I can't change their settings. Is there any way I can fix this? I've already tried re-installing it.

You can try resetting the configuration. Go to Windows Start menu->All Programs->RealWorld->More->Manage RW Photos. Then click the Reset configuration button.

Please keep in mind that the currently available version is still in beta stage and has some bugs, final version will be available in a few months.
