can someone help me? i cant run portal in my win7 os, i tried compatibility settings but no work. anyone help?? ps. if you actually are able to help me, i will give you medal. :<

why to install windows when linux exists?

because not everybody is familiar with open source code like stuff, and people just like windows

@eeveelover64 first of all you don't have to deal with kind of source code to run linux...!!!

you can just install any software or (package) using linux package manager. Like: sudo apt install chromium in debian or antix linux.

or with archlinux's pacman: pacman -S geany

What exactly are the requirements to run Portal?

In other words, you should have at least an Intel i7, and a decent graphics card. My computer has none of that.

uh no it isn't, it crashed constantly. and was VERY unstable, 7 is the better os

Dude, both are the best, also with windows xp, windows vista didn't crashed on my desktop pc i used, i got a laptop that was windows 10 and I REALLY HATE WINDOWS 10!!!!!!! So i dowgrade to 7 and use vista on vm

Just use the sp2, it fixes the unstablity and it doesn't crashes many times
