Welcome to the September 2026 Theme of the Month contest, celebrating the nostalgic charm and precision of Pixel Art & Retro Gaming! This month invites creators to channel the golden age of 8-bit and 16-bit classics by crafting crisp, grid-aligned visuals with vibrant, carefully limited color palettes. For great icon set entries, you could create an Arcade Power-Ups collection featuring health potions, speed boots, and invincibility stars. Another fantastic direction is an animated Chiptune RPG Cursors pack with pixel-perfect swords, shields, and spellcasting wands. Alternatively, design a charming set of Vintage Console & Cartridge desktop icons that pay homage to legendary handhelds and arcade cabinets.

Contest Rules & Participation:

• Eligibility: Submissions must contain a minimum of 8 different icons for an icon set, a complete cursor set, or a functional icon assembler.
• Submission Period: Entries are open from September 1st to September 22nd, 2026.
• How to Enter: Publish your work to the RealWorld gallery and post a reply in this thread with a link to your submission.

Contest starts on August 31st

Submission phase will end and voting will start on September 21st. The contest will conclude and participants will be able to claim their prizes on September 30th.

The winner will receive 25, the runner-up will receive 15, and the 2nd runner-up will receive 10.
