What a crazy mental out your are
do you like some one add our you Jesus Head like this

user icon cdl contributing user on January 14th 2013

Please rest assured that the intent was not to offend.
No insult was intended.
Buddha heads appear the world over in graphic form as well as sculptures and are meant to be a sign of reverence and esteem.
If Jesus' head were to appear so pleasing to the eye I imagine it would be the same without insult or offense to most all the world.
Furthermore I contend that neither Buddha nor Jesus would be offended by the act of respectfully remembering their teachings.
I am deeply sorry that you have taken offense to this work of art and beauty.

So nice and beautiful icons! They look like they are made of colored metal of another land... (yeah i know that colored metal doesn't exist, but don't you people have imagination? icon-image/8326-32x32x32.png image)

I really love these smilies, i feel free to express myself! icon-image/8303-32x32x32.png image

In a similar way, those statues of deities are made in homage in them aren't they? So is the same case of these icons I guess.

Yes MariaPiu, they were made to honor not to degrade and that is why I am in no way tempted to remove them simply because of one closed mind. I do understand that in some cultures this would be inappropriate but I like Buddha and believe the teachings of Buddha have merit and meaning that we all could benefit from.
The icons remind us of such and are aesthetically pleasing to the eye.
I think Buddha would approve!

Thanks for your comment and rating!

  • I have heard that if metal is combined with particles containing a refractory metal oxide you can create a colored metal.

5 out of 5 stars.

They are lovely. Can't believe anyone would take offense. Different cultures I suppose. I just think they are cool and I like what Buddha stands for, the teachings.

Nice work.
