Beautiful cursors! I have a problem with installation, though. I really love this set of cursors and I'm so disappointed.
I copied the text exactly into a Notepad file and saved it as Install.inf in the extracted folder called llx-rainbow. When I selected Install in the context menu, after the user account OK, a File Needed dialog came up: "The file 'llx_rainbow_up.ani' on (Unknown) is needed." The search couldn't find it.
I have screenshots of everything. Would you help me and check into this? Thank you in advsnce! -- Annie B
LLX Rainbow Cursors
Today on Christmas Eve 2020, Hopachi has officially released the finished version of the "LLX Rainbow" cursor set which took him quite a long time to make. This is a rainbow themed cursor set which is part of the LLX series of cursors. I did not make this cursor set, so I have set the license to "Custom (contact author)". Hopachi has given me permission to share this cursor set by uploading it to the RealWorld website. I have upload it here on this website only for sharing purposes.
Below is the official link on the Ten Forums where I have downloaded the LLX Rainbow cursor set. This is the official and original download link:
This cursor set is fully animated, meaning that all the cursor roles are fully animated with all the colors of the rainbow. The outline to this cursor set are all in black because black best suits the look of the rainbow theme.
Below, are some instructions to create your .inf installation file. All the necessary information code to create your own LLX Rainbow .inf file is written below. You must copy the following code into a Notepad document and save it with the .inf file name extension. Save and name the installation file as "Install.inf", (without quotes). Copy the following code into a blank Notepad file:
; LLX Rainbow Cursor - Experimental fully-animated 64x64px
; By Hopachi - testing up to 128x128px layer and beyond - optimized for Win10
; Long live the cursors!
CopyFiles = Scheme.ani
AddReg = Scheme.Reg
Scheme.ani = 10,"%CUR_DIR%"
CUR_DIR = "Cursors"
SCHEME_NAME = "LLX-Rainbow"
alternate = "llx_rainbow_up.ani"
busy = "llx_rainbow_busy.ani"
dgn1 = "llx_rainbow_nwse.ani"
dgn2 = "llx_rainbow_nesw.ani"
link = "llx_rainbow_hand.ani"
help = "llx_rainbow_help.ani"
horz = "llx_rainbow_ew.ani"
move = "llx_rainbow_move.ani"
pointer = "llx_rainbow_arrow.ani"
hand = "llx_rainbow_pen.ani"
cross = "llx_rainbow_cross.ani"
text = "llx_rainbow_text.ani"
unavailiable = "llx_rainbow_no.ani"
vert = "llx_rainbow_ns.ani"
work = "llx_rainbow_working.ani"
pin = "llx_rainbow_location.ani"
person = "llx_rainbow_person.ani"
There is a typo mistake in the "unavailable", which is written in the code. Do not modify that mistake, otherwise the .inf install file shall not work. However, I have corrected the mistake on the cursor name "Unavailable" on the front page of the RealWorld website.
This cursor set is a 64x64 pixels resolution set for Windows 10. Please note that if you want to use the "Location" and "Person" cursor roles, you must have at least Windows 10 - 19H1 or above to use those two additional cursor roles. This cursor set has a total of 21 cursor roles. There is a mouse pointer called "Inverted" for left hand users and a "Universal" mouse pointer for users which are comfortable on using both hands to control and navigate their mouse pointers with both hands. This LLX Rainbow cursor set, makes it comfortable for any computer user to use their left or right hands without any difficulties.
This cursor set has been released on both the Ten Forums and the RealWorld website on December 24th 2020, which is on the Christmas Eve 2020 Day. Enjoy this dazzlingly themed "LLX Rainbow" cursor set.
The description has been updated. Today, Hopachi has released two new gear cursors for the LLX Rainbow cursor set. Users are required to re-download the whole set or the two new gear cursors to obtain them. Both gear cursors are fully animated so they are perfect for animating waiting and loading times in Windows 10 sessions. The gear cursors are a busy gear cursor and a mouse pointer with a spinning gear cursor. Both gear cursors are completely animated with spinning gears and rainbow colors animated in the same way as with all other cursors in this LLX Rainbow cursor series. Prior to the 19 cursor roles you had before, there are now 21 cursor roles to this set in total.
