Big Upgrade 4 the 15 Puzzle

Alright folks, time for a shiny update! The 15 Puzzle has just received a proper overhaul, and I'm delighted to say it now fits the style of this web site like it was born here. But don't let the fancy new look fool ya, the real magic's in the new features tucked under the hood.

First off, you can now move multiple tiles at once: click a tile that's two or three spaces from the empty slot, and the whole line will slide into place. It still counts as the proper number of moves, gotta keep the old scoreboard fair, y'know, but it makes play smoother than butter in July.

Speaking of smooth: you've now got a sound effect (one's enough), volume setting is shared with the Memory game. If you've already tweaked the volume slider, you're good to go; if not, well... maybe it's time to let your ears have a bit of fun too.

Keyboard warriors, rejoice! You can now use the arrow keys to move tiles. Just click the board once to give it focus and off you go. There's also a brand new fullscreen button, for those who like their puzzles big and bold.

And for owners of the 15 Puzzle item: customization just got easier, you can switch your tile picture anytime, and SVG icons now scale properly, whether you're zoomed in, fullscreen, or just showin' off. On top of that, the item now tracks basic statistics: how many puzzles you've solved, your best move count, and even your average.

Oh, and just a tiny side note, I'm sure, we're all aware Scunkie sold this item for years without ever givin' it so much as a fresh coat of paint. The old gnome called it "classic charm." I call it "neglected, mate." Don't tell him I said that. (Actually, do tell him, maybe it'll finally get him to try beatin' my best score. Good luck, Scunkie-boy.)
