Vector layer

Vector layer may be part of a layered image. A vector layer may contain any number of objects created with selected drawing tools (for example Ellipse, Line or Shape tools).

How to create a vector layer

In the Layer menu or in the toolbar above the list of layers, click on Create vector layer command. Note that vector layers are currently only available in RealWorld Paint 2013.1.

Editing objects in vector layers

When a vector layer is selected in the list of layers, the editor shows a different menu items. List of available drawing tools is reduced compared to raster layer editor and the Editing tab on the right side of the window has the Object panel.
