I know from the picture what the hotspot tool is supposed to look like, but it doesn't appear to show up on the toolbar... thanks, it seems to work. I wasn't aware the hotspot tool disappeared when I opened a standard image/animation. I usually figure it would be greyed out or something if it wasn't able to be used, contrary to disappearing. perhaps adding this information will clear up misunderstandings? Some people's circle is bigger as they make the actual cursor smaller and then blur both the outline and the fill to make the circle look bigger. Also you CAN make the canvas larger by using your roller middle thing on the mouse and moving it up- It is hard to explain on a laptop though sorry! I use the "smaller mouse = bigger circle" technique and it works perfectly so I advise you use that way especially if you are new to this software.I hope that helped!
