Another cursor set that I have made using Blender and the RealWorld Graphics Software.

It is a steampunk theme- the old victorian/clockwork/steam powered/future theme.

It mostly accomplishes the style using gears, pressure gauges, and appropriate colors.

Your right. Interesting idea. That could be the help cursor. The gears could flash to a question mark, too.

Wow, now THIS is the quality I want to see! I knew this was possible! It only took 3 hours of browsing! Why are there no cursors like this? Why do they all look like they're 20 years old?! PLEASE turn your attention to anything else, - just keep adding high quality cursors.
For this particular set, I liked the cog wheel waiting/busy sets. Beautiful! The pointers and resize arrows were not functional enough for me (I need traditional pointer-esque shapes and non-animated resizing). However the SPBusy is beyond detailed, looks wonderful, and can appeal to a large group of people.
