Fine buttons here, fiddly puzzles there

Published by on October 9th.

Greetings again, noble customers and button-bearing friends! Scunkie Buttonpurse here, and today I must, with a polite cough, introduce a certain new trader strutting about the marketplace.

His name? Dungster Maeon—a leprechaun with a stall full of “collectibles” and “games.” Yes, yes, games! Dice that roll off tables, cards that slip down cracks, little puzzles that keep you fiddling long after your tea has gone cold. If that’s your taste, Dungster will be thrilled to lighten your pockets.

Now, I’ll not deny he’s struck a fine bargain or two. In fact, you may recall the beloved “15 Puzzle” I once offered—ah, a true marvel of sliding squares and patience-testing! Well, wouldn’t you know it, Dungster managed to wriggle his way into an exclusive deal with the maker, and now the puzzle’s slipped from my stall to his. A tragedy of trade, though you won’t hear him complaining.

Still, far be it from me to grumble too loudly. Competition keeps the market lively, or so the guild elders say. And if your heart is set on collecting shiny trinkets or spending hours chasing numbers in a little wooden box, then by all means, pay Dungster a visit. Just don’t forget who deals in the serious stuff—the buttons, the bolts, and the bargains that keep your home from looking like a goblin’s game table.
