You don't open. When you download it you leave it in a place you remember. Then open control panel. In Control Panel, double-click "Mouse". Go on the tab called "Pointer" and click on "Browse" then go to where you saved the cursor, select it, press "Ok" and tada...

ok this is what u do...easier way, when u have the cursor downloaded right click and press properties, then copy the url that it came from... go to control panel click on mouse and go to pointer, then look at the bottom of window and it says browse, click it and paste the url and just press ok and ur done

If your windows vista or xp just left click on the cursor and press save... save it to drive c in the downloads file or somewhere in drive c... then go to control panel, go to mouse and click browse go to drive c and find your cursor, then double click on your cursor that you saved and then click apply then you should have your cursor.

Yay got it to work. If u r doing it by control panel, go to mouse, then pointers. Save the cursor that u want. Then hit browse in the pointer selection. Select the saved picture file. Then u will have ur cursor.

Hm, while it is not impossible to remove your .cur->Acrobat association, it is not easy. I'd recommend to right-click on the cursors and choose download or save from the menu instead of simply clicking on them.

Your browser is probably set to download all files to a predefined folder (Desktop?). Check its configuration.

For those who say they cannot get it to work, you normally have to do the above steps, but when you search it, you have to look to where you d/l it too...try d/l it to the desk top and then clicking it there, it works fine then. Izzabella

I have windows 7 and i think this is for xp ???any help on windows 7 ? they run fine till i shut my computer off then on start up im back to default cursors 😞 ? when i try to reload the coursers it tells me they are missing or a corrupt file? if you have windows 7 most likely you have synaptics witch means go down next to the time in you taskbar click the pop up arrow and MOST LIKELY there should be a pink oval type thing click that then pointing device properties then a windows should pop up then click pointer on the top of that window and that should be exactly it 😎

you just download the curser you want and then zip the file en place the cursers (you can now excess) in the file C:\Windows\Cursors. Go to your mouse options(explained above!) and select one of de option what your mouse will turn into when making a specific move(Like select, Resize your working screen of browser screen, waiting for the page to be ready after opening or downloading). It turn out very well with me 😊
