you just download the curser you want and then zip the file en place the cursers (you can now excess) in the file C:\Windows\Cursors. You cant do it for puffin, i have a mini and used puffin. The only way to do it is to download iExplorer or iFunbox, I prefer iExplorer. Go through the files of puffin web browser and find the folder with the cursor. Then delete that cursor, right click on the empty folder and add files. Find your cursor and import it. Here's how you download a cursor, click the name and download it. Go to where you downloaded it (Or just click the arrow button and click Open In Folder if your using Google Chrome) and right click and go to 'Open with...' then select 'Default program'. Okay, I've literally have tried changing my cursor five times, and yet nothing is working. When I download the cursor(s) they aren't going into the "Cursors (*.ani, .*Cur)" file type. If you have Windows 10, you can ask Cortana to open the "Mouse" settings. From there, you search through and find the tab that has your cursor settings. This way is for most Windows computers, although you would have to open the Control Panel first (unless you want to search for it). What I do is I take the cursor (or cursor pack) and I extract them to create a folder containing all of the cursors for that pack. Then I simply move it into C:\Windows\Cursors directory. I love custom cursors, and the people who make them do a great job! <3 Oh, and does anybody know how to install cursors on Linux? I'm really new to it, but I would like to be able to have something other than the plain white arrow. It gets boring after a while. Unfortunately, I don't know how to do it for the MAC OSX either. when you want to set up your cursor, just go to settings and press mouse cursor. The setting up part is just a bit time consuming. You don't have to install an app for this. Download the cursor pack into a folder you will remember the location of, such as making a new folder in documents called "Cursors". Then use a zip extractor program like 7zip, winRAR etc. to extract the .zip file in that same folder ex.- "Extract Here" as shown on winRAR. Then go into your cursor/pointer settings and it should have a list of your current cursors, click one and select "Browse..." and put the file directory of where you installed/extracted the cursor pack, and select the one that corresponds to the specific one you selected. I've set up the "Almost-Electric" cursor set and every time I boot my computer, it hangs with a black screen and the new pointer. It won't continue on to the desktop. I discovered I can hit Ctrl+Alt+Del and bring up the Task Manager. Then from there, I go to the users tab and log off. just disconnecting doesn't do it. You have to log off. That will bring you back to the log on page and you can log on as a new user and it boots fine, with the new cursor working just fine. What "I'd" like to know, is how can I get my computer to boot up without going through that process, or having to put in a password, just so I can log on. If your on any type of apple computer ( like a macOs ) then you have to get this thing called Mousecape first.. 1. get mousecape (it's free and I don't think it asks for anything) 2. go to the image you want, click it with two of your fingers. 3. click save image 4. download that image you saved, go to the mousecape, look at the big grey thing that is always their on the top of the screen when you aren't in full screen, click file. 5. click new cape. 6. right click the outside of the box ((if you don't have a mouse it's control+click)) 7. Go to edit and click the plus sign at the bottom of the white space that just appeared. 8. Click unknow to go to what you just added, click the other unknown thing and change it to arrow. 9. Drop the image that you want into the box with 1x below it unless you want it to be small. 10. A red dot will appear on your image, go to the hot spot and move the red dot around until you get to the spot where you want to click, or where your cursor actually does stuff. ( the number is usually 9 and 9 ) 11. click the thing you click to exit out of that little box,( the red thing ) 12. double click the box where that image appears and your cursor will change to that image. How to Get Mousecape... 1. search Mouse cape in safari or something that you can search stuff with. 2. click the first link that appears, it should be with GitHub. 3.
