handwriting and alternate?

What are they even used for? Whenever I post a cursor set people are always nagging that I don't include Handwriting and alternate select cursors but I've never even used them outside of the preview box so what are they even for?

I made them in 32x32, but I didn't use smoothing. some of them were smaller to make room for the effects, such as tears. also I plan to make more, but I do not know which ones to make, so I told people to tell me in comments. (just so you know, megaman was only put there to show it works.)

3 ★ i know "feo" means ugly in spainish so i dont think he likes them. and resize/move are too big and hot spots are off. (text hotspot is off too, and shouldn't have an arrow.[that's the whole point of it being a bar])
