It's been canceled for the time being due to lack of responses. I also announced it on the Facebook page, but I removed the blog- sorry. Basically, it was to describe a cursor and have everybody create what they imagined that cursor to be. The experiment being to compare the different styles that each person uses when creating a cursor. The description would be purposefully vague- in this case it was black, green, and spirals. So the cursor that everybody made (Just a "normal select" cursor- not a whole set) would have to incorporate black, green, and spirals (all three) into the design somehow. Then the cursors would all be put into one set together. So that's what I meant. A couple of people have expressed interest since then, so I may bring it up again and message people to make them aware- more direct. Interested? Vlasta (2011-01-04 10:10:03):

Thanks Teddy! For animated cursors, I have a little effort. I make the animtion in Blender. Instead of rendering a movie though, I have it render a series of pictures. Vlasta gave me a handy script that stitches the images into one long strip. Opening the strip in RW Cursor Editor automatically separates the images in the strip into frames. Then I pretty much just set the animation speed and the hotspot. So I basically have these steps. Thanks for the comment! I recommend learning to use Blender, you can do so much with it. And I just know the bare basics of it. They can use it to make movies like Pixar does. (They don't use Blender, but they do use a similar program.) Thank you for the comment on the Envy set. I was using rw cursor but Im liking the simplicity of AniTuner2. They both have +'s and -'s but the main one is that AniTuner2 i can import images directly to frames w/o having to set up the frames then adding the image as a layer. So if i have a 30 frame cursor all i have 2 do is hit enter 30 times to import and make the frame, then set the duration n hotspots. Speaking of hotspots, I think I have the hotspots fixed, however still not sure about the ibeam, it seems like its not quite right. BTW i too use blender to make and render the objects / frames. Dragging and dropping frames from a file manager to .ani file was supposed to work, but a bug slipped in. It will be fixed in the next version. For now, you could use a workaround: In the new RWPaint, create an animated image, drag and drop your frames to it, convert it to filmstrip and then import that in the cursor editor. I do like Dell computers. There's actually a bit of a story for my screen name. (To which I am sure you were referring.) I had previously gone under screen names of RubixChamp (Back when I used to solve rubik's cubes), vistahacker (When I used to Run Vista on my laptop and I altered it to look like Windows 7), and Se7endude (When I finally got the real Windows 7). I had to make a Twitter account in a class at school one day and I wanted something that sounded cool, but also wasn't too wacky. I put my initials along with my favorite brand of computer, and then added "Guy" for the cool effect. So now, I am known as JDDellGuy and for some of those who are familiar with me on the site simply as "JD"
